Sacrificando ore di lavoro e tempo libero, con la passione Che contraddistingue tutti gli Artisti, i Soci Hanno dato vita ad una Istituzione Che finalmente ritrova il gusto di pensare un gioiello al Avere Contempo ed i mezzi tecnici per realizzarlo. L'idea del mondo del lavoro nel campo dell'Oreficeria era Che MOLTI degli Allievi venissero instradati più su materie tecniche sulla pratica Che, e Che Una Volta Assunto Nella propria Ditta uno di QUESTI Allievi, dovevano Ripartire ad insegnare ex novo quelle tecniche di base Che fanno di un Orafo un Gioielliere. Al PERSEO i Corsi di Gioielleria sono supportati dal Disegno, Indispensabile per visualizzare le idee PROPRIE, ed i Corsi di Incassatura da Gemmologia, materia utilissima per chi Dovra Lavorare sempre e comunque con le pietre preziose. The Professional Jewellery School Perseo, conceived and founded in 1998 by Fabio Sieni and Massimo Campaioli, organises and runs training, specialisationand refresher courses on themes and subjects relating to jewellery and goldsmithery. The school has its premises in Florence, a city that has always been identified with art. The home of artists and craftsmen who have made it famous throughout the world. The teaching method, tested and refined since 1998, allows excellent results to be achieved in relatively short periods. All the courses are designed to guarantee everyone adequate training for their needs, with many hours of lessons, all conducted by well-qualified teachers (craftsmen, artists, designers and professionals). The school is promoter of the Prize annual 'Perseo School'. The only in Italy for jewellery where the Owners are All Artisans-Artist. Born in Florence in 1998, an Association dedicated to the teaching of the Culture of Jewelry. A group of Professionals of this sector decides to found "Perseo" to fill in a large gap left open by public and private schools. Until then, the teaching of the Arts concerning Jewelry and all the activities that form Jewelry was normally confided to persons who were good "managers" of any Vocational School but from the artistic point of view, they had little or no personal experience in working in a jewelry workshop. Therefore, there grew a necessity for those who wished to bring the young in contact with all the expressions that form Jewelry, to recreate a "Bottega Artigiana" (antique workshop) in Florence, which has for centuries been a birthplace of the best traditions of this Art. In this "Bottega" we turn to think of Jewelry as true and personal creations which are thought, designed, and produced by the hands and the head of the persons who know from direct experience working at the workbench, step by step. Respecting the most classical Jewelry, the owners of "Perseo" wish to bring to light to the Students how to acquire, step by step, the techniques to think, design, produce, set stones, and engrave pieces worthy of the best form of Art in the Goldsmithery Sector. Every owner of "Perseo" has been, for a long period of time, one of the best Artist-Artisans in their own specific sector: the experience accumulated during years of Professional work becomes transmitted to Students in the courses with the suitable amount of time to prepare them to become the best future Artisans. Lo Stile Fiorentino nell’oreficeria.

La plurisecolare tradizione fiorentina dell’artigianato prezioso si fonda su tecniche di lavorazione quali il traforo, l’incisione a ciappola e a bulino, la fusione in osso di seppia e l'antica tecnica della fusione a cera persa. Lo “Stile Fiorentino”, nella gioielleria d'arte, è caratterizzato dall’estrema accuratezza dei particolari e dal perfetto equilibrio delle proporzioni nell’esaltazione armoniosa della bellezza del gioiello. La migliore espressione dell'arte orafa fiorentina contemporanea ha assimilato dalla Città tutto il fascino dell’Arte Rinascimentale e s’ispira spesso ai gioielli rappresentati in alcuni dei capolavori dei migliori artisti rinascimentali. L'Incisione "Stile Fiorentino".

Quando si parla di artigianato artistico si parla di Firenze, si parla di grande talento, di manualità, di spiccata fantasia e non ultimo di tecnica: tutti elementi indispensabili per creare un'opera d'arte, un pezzo unico. L'incisione in Stile Fiorentino ne è un esempio. La sola abilità delle mani, pochi rudimentali arnesi (ciappole, bulini e qualche altro "attrezzo") per conferire al metallo di un qualsiasi oggetto di gioielleria, l'effetto del tessuto come il velluto, la seta, un damascato, l'effetto di un ricamo o di una trina. Questo è lo "Stile Fiorentino", che di tutto questo è composto ed a questo deve la sua nomea. I corsi di incisione, tenuti dal maestro Giancarlo Fattorini, prevedono prima il disegno e poi un percorso di apprendimento pratico, come nelle botteghe orafe: il disegno, la preparazione degli arnesi, l'uso dei bulini, le esercitazioni pratiche per l'apprendimento delle tecniche, la modellazione di piccole figure, l'incisione in "negativo" di stemmi a sigillo, la finitura.

“Florentine Style” Engraving.

When one speaks of artistic craftsmanship, one speaks of Florence, of great talent and skill, of outstanding creativity and last but not least of technique: all indispensable elements for creating a unique work of art. Engraving is an example of this. With only the skill of the hands and a few simple tools ( various types of chisels and several other utensils) the artisan bestows upon the metal of a piece of jewellery the effect of velvet, silk, or damask or decorates it to create the effect of lace. These are the characteristics of the Florentine style which have made it famous. The engraving courses held by the master Giancarlo Fattorini offer drawing lessons first and then a practical learning experience as in that of a workshop; design and drawing, preparation of the tools, use of the chisels , practical excercises important for mastering the techniques, the work of engraving 'in negative' of a coat of arms for a seal and the final finishing stages of a piece.
